Flint Barn specialises in maintaining communal green spaces in large, new housing estates. We pay attention to every detail— lawns, verges, borders, hedges, wild areas, playgrounds, and curbs—ensuring that all aspects are meticulously cared for.

In addition to our maintenance, we understand the complexities of multi-phase developments. Whether collaborating with developers during handover periods, providing initial quotes from site plans for budgeting, or attending site meetings, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards while homes are still being sold, creating beautiful living environments for new residents.

Understanding our residents is essential to our work. By actively listening to feedback from our managing agent partners, we develop a clear picture of what matters most to the community. Currently, we provide maintenance for a variety of estates, ranging from smaller, intimate developments to large estates exceeding 1,000 homes with extensive communal grounds.

We are constantly looking to invest and improve our equipment to ensure we always deliver the highest standard of service to our customers whilst sticking to a budget. We specialise and currently maintain numerous new build estates with many coming directly from developers.

Who We Are

Flint Barn is a family company shaped by evolution. Founded by Matt Wilkinson in early 2019, our journey began with his horticultural expertise and dedication to outstanding service. During lockdown, family members joined, creating a trusted team that invests heavily for the long term.

Five years on, we own our own yard and storage barn in Uckfield equipped with top-of-the-line tools to maintain even the largest and most demanding estates along the A22 corridor. Flint Barn is poised to become the area specialist in top-quality estate management.
